Episode Summary

E01: The Beantown Bailout Job – Nate, now sober, grudgingly reassembles the team to pit the local Irish mob against a banker who is gaming a government bailout. If they live, Nate has four thieves to deal with who believe he needs them in his life, whether he likes it or not.

E02: The Tap Out Job – The crew work to get a corrupt mixed martial arts promoter to invest all he has into a phony cable network, but their con is discovered. Now it is Nate’s job to throw a fight.

E03: The Order 23 Job – The Leverage team stages an outbreak at a hospital in order to get a quarantined convict to reveal a secret.

E04: The Fairy Godparents Job – Nate and his team continue to remove greed by focusing in on a avaricious investment banker. They’ll pose as “fairy godparents” to the awkward son of the white collar crook.

E05: The Three Days of the Hunter Job – The crew uses the world of government conspiracies to raise paranoia and expose a callous tabloid newscaster as a fraud.

E06: The Top Hat Job – The crew takes on a corrupt corporation which is marketing tainted foods. The scheme team needs to be tricky: they will put on a fake magic show so they can slip by the tight security.

E07: The Two Live Crew Job – Nate and his crew square off against a band of thieves in order to retrieve priceless stolen artwork.

E08: The Ice Man Job – Hardison fills in for Sophie as the inside man when the team sets their sights on an unscrupulous diamond merchant. However, he overplays the role and the merchant’s henchmen take him prisoner and force him to break into their employer’s vault to steal the diamonds for themselves.

E09: The Lost Heir Job - The Leverage team targets a shady lawyer looking to usurp his dying client's estate. In an attempt to retrieve the money from the estate which was promised to a charity, Parker plays the client's long-lost daughter and claims to be his heir. With Sophie still in London, the team works with an uptight lawyer as a chaperone, but they soon find out that there's more to her than meets the eye.

E10: The Runway Job – The Leverage team cons the owners of a clothing company, after their employees are mistreated

E11: The Bottle Job – When a loan shark tries to take over McRory’s Pub, the Leverage team resorts to the classic “wire” con.

E12: The Zanzibar Marketplace Job – The Leverage team helps Nate’s ex-wife Maggie, who is framed by an industrialist.

E13: The Future Job – The team goes after a con man masquerading as a psychic medium in order to drain the life savings of his bereaved clients.

E14: The Three Strikes Job – In Part 1 of the two-part Season 2 finale, Nate and his A-team try to scam a crooked local mayor by taking advantage of his passion for baseball. The high-tech outlaws try to cover all the bases, but they’re thrown a curve because of an unforeseen snafu. Jeri Ryan and Richard Kind guest star. Dean Devlin directed the episode.

E15: The Maltese Falcon Job – The team is on the run after their inadvertent involvement in a FBI sting operation… and Jim Sterling is lending his expertise to bring them to ground. To buy his freedom, Nate may have to sacrifice the others.

The Powells are about to go from ordinary to extraordinary. Episode Summary

E01 Pilot – With Stephanie’s career as a research scientist taking off, and their teenage children growing up faster than Jim would care for, the family patriarch seems to be less and less relevant at home. Making matters worse is a violent armed robber at large in the city and Jim’s job as a police sketch artist has thus far been unsuccessful in helping to catch the criminal. In a last ditch effort to bring his family together and fill the void in his life, Jim organizes a trip to South America where his wife Stephanie is researching a strange plant she has recently discovered. A sightseeing plane ride during a freak storm ends in disaster when the plane crashes in to the Amazon river. Miraculously, the Powell family survives and returns home, but as time goes by they one by one begin to discover that something amazing and mysterious is happening to them. What’s more, they may not be the only ones…

E02 No Ordinary Marriage – Jim attempts to track down some elusive bank robbers, Stephanie looks into discovering the source of the family’s newly acquired powers, and Daphne, trying to find a way keep the voices in her head from drowning out her ability to read minds, discovers that JJ has become a super genius but is hiding it from the family. Meanwhile Jim and Stephanie not only keep their powers a secret from the world but from each other too, as Stephanie discovers Jim has become a crime fighter and Jim finds out that Stephanie has used her new power of speed.

E03 No Ordinary Ring – After Stephanie’s ring is stolen during a robbery at a high-end wedding, Jim and George become wedding crashers in an attempt to catch the thugs. Meanwhile, after learning that assistant Katie misguidedly used her own blood to cover for Stephanie’s company physical exam – fearing that the results would reveal her powers – Stephanie is forced to use her powers in order to retrieve the blood sample from a secure lab; against her parents’ wishes, Daphne wants to tell her friend Megan about her telepathic abilities after she inadvertently reads her mind and blurts out what she heard; and JJ asks Daphne to scan the mind of a cute girl to find out if she has feelings for him.

E04 No Ordinary Vigilante – Jim begins a career as a nighttime crimefighter, but is mistaken for a vigilante killer. Meanwhile, JJ decides to use his powers to join the football team, and Daphne uses her telepathy to get into a secret senior-class party.

E05 No Ordinary Quake – Jim goes into search mode to discover the cause of some recent earthquakes; Stephanie begins to suspect that JJ may be lying about his lack of super powers; and Daphne struggles with morality issues when she reads the minds of a fellow student and teacher and suspects they may be having an affair.

E06 No Ordinary Visitors – When Stephanie’s hard-to-please parents, Barbara and Allan Crane, pay an unexpected visit, the Powells must curb the use of their powers for fear of giving away their secret. But Barbara and Allan begin to suspect that something’s awry when they witness some strange behavior. Meanwhile, when friend Trent Stafford and his parents are the victims of a home invasion, Daphne uses her abilities to help Jim try to track down the thugs responsible for the violent act.

E07 No Ordinary Mobster – Jim’s secret identity is at risk when he tries to take down a dangerous mobster who has eluded George for years; Stephanie continues to look into Dr. Volson’s previous research of a mysterious plant – against Dr. King’s wishes; Daphne convinces a reluctant JJ to use his powers to help her become more knowledgeable in order to impress a boy; and JJ goes to extreme measures to help Katie get a date.

E08 No Ordinary Accident – Jim’s powers start to fade, and Stephanie and Katie try to work out why. Meanwhile, the Watcher insinuates himself into Katie’s life to learn what Stephanie is up to, JJ is caught hacking the school computer systems to help a friend, and Daphne tries to impress a potential boyfriend by secretly using her telepathy.

E09 No Ordinary Anniversary – Jim and Stephanie go out for their 18th wedding anniversary, leaving the kids at home. They soon find themselves teaming up to take on a super-powered arsonist, and Stephanie learns about the rush Jim gets from crimefighting. Meanwhile, JJ and Daphne team up to take their fellow students for money in a poker game at their house, Katie and the Watcher grow closer, and Dr. King has to take steps to protect one of his subjects.

E10 No Ordinary Sidekick – After George is mistaken as a hero for thwarting a robbery that Jim was responsible for stopping, tempers flare between the two friends when George thinks Jim is jealous of the attention he’s receiving, and Jim feels that George is taking credit for something he didn’t do and hogging the limelight. Meanwhile, Stephanie and Katie find themselves at odds over personal matters, JJ discovers a weakness in his powers, and Daphne’s suspicions over Katie’s boyfriend intensify.

E11 No Ordinary Friends – After Jim saves Dave Cotten’s life, he and Stephanie become fast friends with Dave, his wife Michelle, and their kids. But Jim begins to suspect that the Cottens may be leading their own secret lives. Meanwhile, Daphne throws her hat into the high school ring for student council president, and Katie reveals a secret to Stephanie about her relationship with Joshua – aka The Watcher.

E12 No Ordinary Brother – Jim’s shady younger brother Mike pays the Powells a visit, and quickly discovers they have superpowers. He convinces JJ to help him win at the horse track, but Jim soon discovers Mike has big financial problems. Meanwhile, Global Tech HR VP Victoria Morrow promotes Katie, prompting Stephanie’s jealousy, but Dr. King has an ulterior motive for the move. And at school, Daphne realizes that a student is lying to protect his younger brother from a suspension.

E13 No Ordinary Detention – While Internal Affairs officer Rachel Jacobs investigates reports of a rogue cop, Jim risks revealing himself as the prime suspect when the police station is overrun by a group of thugs, and he is the only hope of survival. Meanwhile, while trying to nurse an ailing Joshua back to health at the lab, Katie and Stephanie run into Human Resources VP Victoria Morrow and begin to suspect that she isn’t who she says she is.

E14 No Ordinary Double Standard – After a friend is attacked, Stephanie tells Jim that she wants to join forces with him to help catch the perp. But when Jim informs Stephanie that he’s built for crime fighting – and she’s not – the competition is on to see which one of them can solve the case first. Meanwhile, Daphne feels like Jim is invoking a double standard when he allows JJ to date a senior but won’t let her do the same, and Katie learns some disturbing news about Joshua – aka The Watcher.

E15 No Ordinary Powell – The Powells’ lives are in danger when Dr. King orders shape-shifter Victoria Morrow to infiltrate the household and murder one of the family members; and JJ, with the aid of Daphne, attempts to solve the cold case murder of his ex-girlfriend Natalie’s mother.

E16 No Ordinary Proposal – Jim’s feelings of guilt are overwhelming when, during a fight with a thug, he diverts a bullet that accidentally hits a boy – causing life-threatening harm. Meanwhile, Daphne’s boyfriend, Chris, steals the trilsettum serum from the Powell house and injects his wheelchair-bound father, Roy, with disastrous results; Joshua proposes to Katie; and JJ’s teacher takes unscrupulous steps to get him to join the school’s academic decathlon team.

E17 No Ordinary Love – The mysterious Mrs. X tasks the sexy – and dangerous – Sophie to cause Jim and George to fall under her spell and make them do whatever she wants them to – which could place Jim’s marriage in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Stephanie must decide whether or not to inject a patient with the trilsettum serum and risk turning him into a super in order to retain Dr. King’s trust, and Daphne’s boyfriend, Chris, begins to have suspicions about the Powell family’s abilities.

E18 No Ordinary Animal – The Powells’ lives are in danger when a super-villain with animal-like powers is tasked by Mrs. X to eliminate the family. Meanwhile, good girl Daphne takes a rebellious step by ditching school with boyfriend Chris to attend a Sara Bareilles music video shoot; JJ becomes suspicious of Mr. Litchfield’s motives when he’s presented with different equations from those of the rest of the academic decathlon team; and Katie makes a shocking discovery about Joshua – aka The Watcher.

1 - Would I Lie to You?

2 - Back From the Dead
Jane takes on a custody case where a man who suffers from amnesia and was declared dead suddenly returns after 9 years, willing to do anything to see his son. Kim and Parker represent a female writer who wants to sue the man she used to represent her pen name, Jonathan Martin, in the magazine's parties she writes for. Fred becomes Kim's assistant. Grayson organizes a gathering in memory of Deb’s birthday.

3 - The Long Road to Napa
Jane's new case involving two women married to the same guy takes an interesting turning point after she finds out that Tony is representing the cheating husband. While helping a friend with an adoption case, Kim believes that she might be pregnant with Grayson's child. Stacy makes an invention.

4 - Home and Away
Jane and Tony's relationship is threaten by his new job, which is on Washington. Jane accepts to help Teri's cousin to remain in town believing that it will be an easy case, however there's something about Edward that neither Jane and Teri knows. Parker and Kim decides to take their relationship more far. Grayson decides to sell the house he once shared with Deb while he's working on a case of a woman who punched her daughter's coach for taking her out of the team. The case takes an interesting turn after Jane/Deb reveals to Stacy that she once dated the coach.

5 - Senti-Mental Journey
When Jane's mother, Elaine, is arrested for her behavior, Jane learns a secret that her mother has been keeping from her for the past 15 years. Teri teaches Fred how to drive and to flirt. Fred learns that Kim and Parker are having an affair. Grayson gets too involved in the case of a woman who claims to have been victim of a scam.

6 - Begin Again
Jane and Grayson's new case involves two sisters who are being accused of killing their manager. While taking care of the case, Jane realizes that Grayson is falling for one of the sisters' lawyer, Vanessa (Jaime Ray Newman). Kim takes on the case of the owner of a bed-and-breakfast hit with a brutal online review which was wrote by an anonymous reviewer. Meanwhile, Fred tries to make Stacy jealous by pretending to date another woman.

7 - A Mother's Secret
When Deb's mother Bobbi asks Jane to help her to represent a family friend Samantha, Jane discovers some secrets that Bobbie has kept hidden for a long time. Meanwhile, Kim and Grayson work together on a custody case over a pet chimp.

8 - Queen of Mean
Jane represents fashion designer Ellie Tannen, who wants to stop the publication of a tell-all-book that was written by a former assistant, but Jane discovers that Ellie has an ulterior motive for hiring her. Meanwhile, Kim and Grayson represent a transgender woman who is feuding with her former in-laws for her partner's property after she was killed in a car accident.

9 - Last Year's Model
Jane and Kim work together on a discrimination case after Jane brings the case to the firm only to have Parker reassign the case to Kim. Grayson takes on a case where his clients claim their house is haunted while he also gets closer to Vanessa. Meanwhile, Fred helps Stacy get a job serving divorce papers to help her earn money.

10 - Will & Grayson
Jane attends a banquet honering her services to the L.A PD only for the night to be ruined when she is accused of stealing a woman's husband by having an affair. Meanwhile, Grayson tries to find out why Vanessa's ex-fiancé Will's company is being undercut by another company while also trying to find out if Will still has feelings for Vanessa.

11 - Good Grief
Jane a Grayson represent a man dressed as a clown to cope with the loss of his wife who died in a car accident. Parker and Kim represent a producer who is being sued by a participant of his realty dating show, which leads to Kim questioning her relationship with Parker. Meanwhile, Fred decides to finally tell Stacey that he is in love with her.

12 - Bad Girls
Jane represents a young girl who is being cyber bullied by one of the popular girls at her school, which helps Jane find out something that takes the case on an interesting turn. Meanwhile, Parker's old firm partner, Claire Harrison, returns to enlist Parker's help in getting a divorce from her husband but Kim takes the lead on the case. Meanwhile, Grayson moves onto the next level in his relationship when he meets Vanessa's parents.

13 - Freeze The Day
Claire Harrison tries to ease her way back into the firm and partners with Kim on a case to try and ruin it and get Kim kicked out of the firm. Fred gets jealous when he finds out that Stacy has booked a commercial where she has to pretend to be married and kiss her pretend husband. Meanwhile, Jane and Grayson partner on a case involving a woman who wants to be cryogenically frozen and while investigating the case they begin to think about Deb, which leads to a series of events that could bring them together or tear them apart.

1 - Pilot
Jane Bingum, a plus-sized lawyer, gets shot by a cuckolded man aiming for her boss at her law firm. Deb Dobson is a slim model and living the good life when she is killed in a car crash. Deb goes to Heaven but is accidentally sent back to Earth just as Jane dies in the hospital. Deb's soul ends up in Jane's heavyset body and now Deb (with Jane's knowledge of law) must play the role of the lawyer. She finds herself conflicted between her superficial past and her new responsibility-ridden life. To make matters more difficult, Deb's grieving boyfriend, Grayson Kent, is now working at the same law firm. Deb's Guardian Angel, named Fred, watches over her but only he and Deb's friend, Stacy, know who Jane really is on the inside.

2 - The F Word
Jane takes on the case of a waitress who was fired from her job after gaining 50 pounds. Grayson and Kim work on the case of a man who's getting divorce from his wife and want his kidney back.

3 - Do Over
Jane/Deb learns that Jane's past has caught up with her when a case from the previous year is up for retrial. Kim and Grayson sue a psychiatrist who "cured" their client's husband of his multiple personalities, but got rid of the wrong one. Rosie O'Donnell guest stars as a judge.
4 - The Chinese Wall

Jane/Deb represents Deb's mother, Bobbi, in divorce proceedings. Bobbi originally asked Grayson to represent her, but he represents Deb's dad. Meanwhile, Jane and Kim defend a dog-owner who believes a pet cloning company did not give the dog owner a prize winning dog like the dog from which it was supposedly cloned. Featuring guest stars Sharon Lawrence, Mark Moses and Diedrich Bader.
5 - Lost and Found
Twenty-four year-old Deb celebrates Jane's 32nd birthday while defending a client who was wrongfully imprisoned and freed a decade later. Kim and Grayson take on the case of a man who developed a web site that offers married men a way to cheat on their wives.

6 - Second Chances
Grayson tries to get an obituary removed from the tabloids that prematurely reports the death of his client. But as Grayson hopes that will make his client happy, he discovers that his client may need to be satisfied in some other way. Meanwhile, Jane/Deb represents a mother who goes to court for a crime committed twenty years earlier. Also, Fred reads an article about playing hard-to-get. Stacy realizes that she likes Fred and at the end of the episode, Fred shows up at Stacy and Jane's doorstep. Stacy kisses him and they go off on a date.

7 - The Magic Bullet
Jane/Deb represents a mother who believes her daughter became ill while following a diet, and is suing diet guru Jillian Ford. Kim is hit with a sexual harassment suit by her former assistant; Grayson and Terri come to her assistance in disposing of the case. Fred is sent back to Heaven after kissing Stacy.

8 - Crazy
Jane/Deb must attend Jane’s high school reunion. Also, she (as Jane) has to prove that her client is competent enough to go to trial. Meanwhile Kim and Grayson aren’t exactly sure what to do when they represent a bride-to-be suing her maid of honor after the bride discovered her in bed with her fiancé.

9 - The Dress
Kim represents Jane on the case of a boutique store that doesn't sell plus sized clothing. Grayson represents the daughter of Parker's friend who agreed to appear in a porn video.

10 - Make Me a Match
Judge Madeline Stone has been looking for some romance with the help of a match-making service, but Jane/Deb soon discovers that they are also committing fraud. Meanwhile, Kim and Grayson must see if they can figure out why two sisters who are both psychics wouldn't want to share in the family business. Fred returns from heaven and becomes human so that he could still see Stacey.

11 - What If
Jane/Deb takes on an interesting case of a woman who feels she was switched at birth as her mom hopes to straighten out some of these issues and figure out why the client was led to believe she was switched at birth. Parker is about to go back in the court room again for the first as a lawyer for one of his oldest friends but before doing so he will need help in not being so nervous.

12 - Dead Model Walking
Jane represent Deb's favorite model, Christy Talbot, when she's held at a department store for assaulting a salesclerk. But the case gets more complicated after Christy is accused of murdering her husband. Grayson and Kim take a pro bono case for a widow who won't sell her house because there are too many memories of her late husband. However, the woman have something to hide.

13 - Grayson's Anatomy
Jane risks her place at the firm after she learns that her new case, about an athlete who was injured in his surgery, it's actually a fraud. Lastly, Jane finds a surprising visitor in her doorstep.
